MIJWIZ-SIKU-SIKU-MIJWIZ
explores a collective dimension rooted in the essence of Abya Yala and Palestinian indigenism, weaving together sounds, anecdotes, and text excerpts.

Language is treated as a fluid, dynamic substance rather than a rigid form. It serves as a complementary tool to describe the complexity of a sonic phenomenon, one that resonates with emotions and invites the creation of alternative imaginaries.

Throughout the performance, decades and centuries of resistance are examined from an internal perspective of Indigenous art and self-determination, avoiding the romanticization of oppression or its reduction to a mere social issue.

In contrast to the colonial narratives that have long been imposed on Indigenous histories, this performance aims to foster new bonds of solidarity and re-center Indigenous visions toward the future.

"Mijwiz-Siku" embodies this alternative dimension. This term combines two wind instruments—the Andean Siku and the Levantine Mijwiz—challenging the concept of universalism and inviting the audience to trust in the narratives presented by the performers.
